Our round-the-country RV adventure
06 June 2022
During our days staying in and hiking the lovely Grand Tetons we saw a grizzly bear with two cubs, a robin feeding its babies, a fox, otters, wild flowers, stunning alpine lakes and majestic mountains. It is truly a beautiful, magical place.

Our first day and last day in Yellowstone we visited some of the many volcanic wonders of the area including geysers that spit water dozens of feet in the air and boiling and bubbling cauldrons of acidic and clay filled pools whose color comes from the varied bacteria that live at such high temperatures.

The second day we hiked the Canyon of the Yellowstone where we saw multiple water falls and cliffs in the most beautiful and amazing colors.

All the rest of the time we spent driving around looking at the varied and stunning scenery and seeing animals of all types: Elk, black bears with cubs climbing trees, mountain goats, marmots, foxes, sandhill cranes, pronghorn antelope and lots and lots of buffalo. The buffalo would often walk along the road stopping traffic and giving an excellent opportunity for photos.
